Our History
The Cottonwood Garden Club was organized on March 15, 1957 and later incorporated on February 22, 1980. We are members of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc., which holds a convention in May of each year. The State is divided into Districts, and we belong to the Cascade District.
For more than 40 years, the members have contributed to many projects both financially and physically. Our objectives include promoting interest in gardening to stimulate the knowledge of gardening among amateurs, to aid in the protection of native plants and trees, and to encourage civic beautification.
